"My wife and I moved into our new home during the winter. Our boiler worked great for heat, but when the summer months hit, and our newborn son arrived, we quickly realized that we needed central AC to stay comfortable, because our window AC’s were not cutting it! He answered our questions about aesthetics and brought in sample pieces of ductwork so that we would know how much space would be taken up in our attic and closets. The install crew was great. It was a brutal hot week and the guys had a great attitude. They worked hard and kept our home clean, which was important to us with our newborn around. They finished on time, and completed the work as quoted. Best of all, the system is awesome. We went with a Trane two-stage condenser and variable speed air handler with 2 duct zones. We could not be happier with the way things turned out.
The office staff was a huge help throughout the rebate process, and seamlessly supplied documentation for our Mass Save Heat Loan.

"When we decided to move our company’s home office to the North Shore, we reached out to a trusted contractor to oversee the renovation of a Victorian home into two overnight apartments and office space. The home had a newer boiler system for heat but no AC. We asked our contractor for a recommendation for an HVAC company. They recommended Royal Air Systems, so we contacted them. Matt came out and assessed the home and reviewed the construction plans. He explained our options, which were limited by space constraints. Matt was patient as we requested several different price and scope scenarios in order to see what we could fit in our budget. I think he made 3 or 4 trips to the house before we proceeded with the project. In the end, we decided on a Mitsubishi split heat pump with multiple indoor units to maximize the AC without sacrificing floor space.
The install crew was neat and courteous. The office was in active use while the HVAC was going on. The crew coordinated with the general contractor and kept us up to speed on the project and solicited our input when aesthetics were involved. The project was completed in time for us to enjoy the AC before summer was out.
Our confidence in Royal was bolstered when a few weeks after the system was installed, we encountered a problem with the system. A service technician came the same day, found the cause of the problem and ordered the part necessary to correct it. A team was back the next day to replace the defective part and our system was back up and running by lunchtime.
We intend to expand our system next year as our budget allows and will be glad to have Royal complete another project for us. We highly recommend their services!"
